A QUICK UPDATE....

It has been awhile since my last posting....

Since taking office I have attended as your committee representative the following events....

-The Orange County Republican Convention held on September 19th. At the convention we voted to re-organize for the new term and selected Christine Krahulik of Warwick as our nominee for a newly created Family Court seat. I was the only District 4 representative personally present.

-I attended this past week a very nice fundraiser for our great 2005 Republican Team of Supervisor Sheila Conroy, Councilwoman Geraldine Gianzero, and Council Candidate Mike Queenan. It was a great event with good food and good company. I was saddend that all of the Republican Committee including my co-representative in District 4 did not attend. Sheila, Gerri, and Mike really need our support as we head in to the November 8th election. This will be a very close election. I hope that we can have a strong showing for them in District 4. If you want to know more how to help, let me know. If you think you will be out of town on Election Day, please do everything you can to vote by Absentee Ballot. Every vote will count!!

- I have not had the chance yet to attend a Town Committee meeting as your representative. Two have been held since the election. The first I could not attend due to a prior commitment, but I did submit a proxy vote. The second was due to the fact I was not properly notified of the time of the meeting. I have sent a certified letter to the Chairman of our Town Committee Mr. Ralph Caruso demanding proper notification of any and all committee meetings and events. You elected me to be your representative and I take my mandate seriously. I intend to attend every meeting and fight for the agenda I promised you on the campaign trail. I am sure the failure to notify me of meeting events is an oversight and not a deliberate attempt to keep me out of meetings. I will keep you all posted. The next committee meeting is this week.
